At the same time, Mohamed Salah became the first-ever player to win three PFA "Player of the Year" awards
As long-standing tradition dictates, the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA) has chosen the Premier League's 2024/2025 "Team of the Year" and handed out the "Player of the Year" award.
This renowned accolade went to Liverpool's Mohamed Salah, who became the first-ever player to win it three times. Still, the Egyptian absolutely deserved the award and the praise, recording the unbelievable 29 goals and 18 assists in the previous edition of England's top flight.

Salah's terrific season was crowned with Liverpool's Premier League title, so it's no wonder that the Reds had the most representatives in the PFA "Team of the Year" - as many as four.
Their captain, Virgil van Dijk, found his place in the defensive line, Ryan Gravenberch and Alexis Mac Allister took their positions in the midfield, and, of course, the popular Pharaoh led the attack.
The EPL vice-champions Arsenal contributed three players to the "Team of the Year," confirming their and Liverpool's absolute dominance. The Gunners' centre-back duo of William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes was a natural choice, while Declan Rice rounded off the midfield trio.

One of two Premier League Golden Glove winners, Nottingham Forest's Matz Sels, took his place between the posts and the new member of the Anfield crew, who spent the previous season at Bournemouth, Milos Kerkez, completed the defence. At the same time, Newcastle's Alexander Isak and the Trees' Chris Wood were added to Salah in the attacking line.
Finally, Aston Villa's Morgan Rogers won the PFA "Young Player of the Year," Man City's new custodian James Trafford was named "Championship Player of the Year," while the Ivorian Richard Kone, who represented his country at the Homeless World Cup six years ago, was selected as "League One Player of the Year."
