This is undoubtedly one of the strangest things anyone has done for Cristiano on his birthday

Cristiano Ronaldo turned 41 yesterday and most likely received millions of birthday wishes. However, one of the weirdest comes from his homeland, where the father of his Portugal teammate and AC Milan superstar, Rafael Leao, Frank, paid CR7 a tribute with a song!

Antonio Leao, better known by his stage name, Frank Leao, released a song written in three different languages, English, Portuguese, and Kikongo (one of the Angolan indigenous Bantu languages), titled "CR7 o unico" (CR7 the one and only), and talks about Ronaldo's hard beginnings, challenging football journey, and his resilience.

"He left Madeira and moved to Lisbon," Frank reminds everyone, before pointing out that "the journey was tough, but Cristiano endured". Finally, Leao Sr admits, "his heart cries and grieves when people talk badly about Ronaldo."

The music video for the song was filmed in Cristiano's hometown, Funchal, on the Portuguese island of Madeira, and features striking scenes from CR7 Museum, including his famous statue.

Released yesterday, on the day of Ronaldo's birthday, the song went viral shortly, gaining over 10,000 views and 500 likes on YouTube.

The birthday boy hasn't publicly responded to this unique tribute, though he and Rafa Leao will have plenty to talk about when they meet again in the national team.
