Resurrected Rossoneri! Rabiot saves the day as Milan escape the chaos

One moment of class, plenty of nerves - Rossoneri climb to second while Rafael Leao flatters to deceive
Milan won't be framing this one, but they'll take it.
It was scrappy, tense and far from convincing, yet AC Milan did just enough to edge past Hellas Verona (0-1) on Saturday afternoon and climb into second place, courtesy of a decisive moment from Adrien Rabiot.
Back to a 3-5-2 after ditching their failed experiment, Milan looked slightly more balanced, though not necessarily sharper.

Rafael Leao again flattered to deceive, lively in flashes, influential in the build-up, but ultimately underwhelming despite providing the assist.
The game turned on Rabiot's energy. He won the ball in midfield, surged forward, combined with Leao and finished first-time with authority - a rare moment of clarity in an otherwise fractured contest.
Verona, rooted to the bottom, refused to roll over. Rafik Belghali came closest, denied brilliantly by Mike Maignan just before the break, while Milan's goalkeeper was called into action repeatedly as the hosts pushed for an equaliser.
The second half brought more chaos than control, and chances at both ends, a disallowed Milan goal, desperate defending, and even a stoppage after racist abuse aimed at Maignan from the stands.
In the end, the Rossoneri survived rather than impressed. Rabiot made the difference, Maignan preserved it, and Verona were left wondering how they came away with nothing
