The Academy also offers sports scholarships to talented upcoming talents across the world, developing before linking them to established sports clubs across the globe.
In Kenya, the academy gained relevance and backing after it famously handed football scholarships to former St. Antony’s Boys, Kitale duo of Amos Wanjala and Aldrine Kibet.
According to a Facebook Reel by Wanjala, the academy will once again be in the country in search for exciting talents.
“Who is next? Most of you know my story from St. Antony’s Kitale to Nastic Sports Academy through a scholarship program. A similar opportunity is coming your way my people of Western Kenya,” posted Wanjala.
The 19-year-old who currently turns out for Athletic Club (AC) Torrellano, a Spanish fifth-tier went ahead to reveal the trial dates while also noting the advantages successful prospects will enjoy.
“Nastic Sports Academy will be having a showcase on the 17th and 18th October at the Masinde Muliro Stadium.
I know Western Kenya is full of talents so let us show up in large numbers and participate fully and earn yourself a scholarship and experience greatness,” he added.
Wanjala joined Nastic together with Kibet in January 2023 and were nurtured by the club before the former left for his current club a year later.
Kibet, on the other hand, continued to sharpen his skills with the academy until 16 July when he signed for Celta Fortuna - the second team for Spanish La Liga side Celta Vigo.
With the two players a testament to the academy as a pathway for greater opportunities, a lot more young footballers will be expected to turn up for the trials.
