Spurs bounce back from the abyss to survive in the Arctic Circle

Bodo/Glimt were 2-0 up with less than 30 minutes left on the clock and on the verge of a shocking upset, but Tottenham prevailed (2-2)
It would have been a massive, almost shocking upset if Norwegian minnows Bodo/Glimt were able to hold onto a 2-0 second-half lead 200km north of the Arctic Circle on Tuesday night. Thanks to Jens Petter Hauge's brace, they had Thomas Frank's Tottenham Hotspur on the ropes with less than half an hour to go.
However, Micky van de Ven gave Spurs hope almost instantly, pegging one back, pouncing on Pedro Porro's cross. Destiny Udogie crashed a header against the crossbar as the visitors were close to equalizing before Jostein Gundersen scored an own goal near the end.

The favourites were also lucky in the first half, as Kasper Hogh missed the penalty for the hosts.
Spurs seriously struggled on that artificial pitch, where Tottenham played in May and secured a routine 2-0 win on their way to winning the Europa League under Ange Postecoglou.
Talking after the match, Frank noticed that after a two-goal deficit, Spurs were "way better in a strange way".
"Maybe because Bodo dropped back maybe we took more initiative, you know sometimes that's the momentum of the game. But I felt that we kept doing the right thing, we kept moving the ball, kept reducing the situation from the side.
"And showed great character to come back into the game, which I'm very, very pleased with. But big praise to Bodo. I think until the 2-0 they were the best team today.
"I think after that the game changed a bit and I think we got more on top. And of course scored the 2-1 and then changed the equaliser. So they just showed exactly what I expected from them today," concluded he.
