The pair were making their first club appearances after the November international break, where both featured in Harambee Stars’ twin AFCON qualifying matches

Kenya internationals Daniel Anyembe and Eric 'Marcelo' Ouma were all involved for their respective teams as they settled for draws on Sunday 24 November.

The pair were making their first club appearances after the November international break, where both featured in Harambee Stars’ twin matches against Zimbabwe and Namibia in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Qualifiers.

Daniel Anyembe

In Denmark, right-back Anyembe featured for all 90 minutes as his Viborg side were held to a barren draw by hosts Aalborg at Portland Park.

Deployed at centre-back, the 26-year-old put in a solid shift worth a 6.8 rating despite picking a yellow card in the 65th minute.

The visitors will perhaps look back at having numerous goal-scoring opportunities go to waste as Isak Jensen and Thomas Jorgensen caused problems for Aalborg with no bite, while Nigerian Ibrahim Said struck the inside of the post after attempting a clever tap-in.

The point for Viborg sees them remain in eighth position but are now three points behind seventh-placed Brondby.

'Marcelo' Ouma

In Poland, Ouma also featured for 90 minutes as Rakow Częstochowa drew 1-1 with 14-placed Korona Kielce at Miejski Stadion Piłkarski in Raków.

The 28-year-old handed a 7.3 rating, played as a left-wing back as his side maintained their third position in the Ekstraklasa.

The hosts took the lead through Vladyslav Kochergin in the 23rd minute but were dealt a huge blow when Kielce equalized with a minute of regular time remaining.

Spanish forward Adrian Dalmau was the man to level the scores, seeing Rakow drop points for the second successive league game.

They are now five points behind leaders Lech Poznan, who beat GKS Katowice 2-0 on Saturday.
