Wilson, who secured a loan move to the Swedish second-tier side from AIK late last month, got off the mark in spectacular fashion, as he arrowed a left-foot shot into the top-left corner to give Enköpings a 2-0 lead with just a minute left before halftime.
The strike, which was hugely celebrated by those in attendance at the 6,000 capacity stadium, was Wilson’s first for the club, but also his first goal since leaving Kariobangi Sharks for AIK in the summer of August 2024.
The 19-year-old ended up playing 90 minutes in the game, extending his productive spell in his new club, having failed to secure a regular playing spot in the top tier.
Wilson was not the only Kenyan on the field, as Kenya U20 midfielder Irad Mshindi was also in action for Enköpings, playing in his second 90-minute match for the club.
The win for Enköpings saw them jump four points above the relegation zone in 13th place.
Elsewhere in Denmark, Kenyan defender Daniel Anyembe played the full minutes for Viborg as they lost 2-1 to Aarhus in the Superliga.
Harambee Stars striker Alfred Scriven was also in action on Sunday, featuring as a second-half substitute as Bryne fell 2-0 to Tromso.
Scriven, 27, had missed out on Bryne’s game before the international break, having accumulated five yellow cards.
Meanwhile in Armenia, Kenyan midfielder Alwyn Tera played 87 minutes of Ararat Armenia’s 3-2 victory over Urartu, a result that keeps his side unbeaten after its first four Armenia Premier League matches.
