Michael Olunga
Kenyan international Michael Olunga opened his account in the Qatar Stars League at the third time of asking as he helped Al Duhail to a 2-0 win over Al Rayyan on Sunday.
Olunga assured all three points for Duhail in the 73rd minute when Abdullah Abdulsalam floated in an inch-perfect cross that was headed onto the path of Olunga who fired home with an acrobatic finish.
The Japanese MVP did justice to the goal with a backflip celebration as he added to Ismaeel Mohammed's 37th-minute strike.
The forward took to Twitter to celebrate his milestone, "Plus 3 points for Al Duhail, Hopefully first of many."
The win sees Duhail close in on league leaders Al Sadd as they bridged the gap to 13 points as they prepare to face Gharafa on Thursday 18 February.
