AIK will get a chance to salvage their season when they play Halmstads on the final round on Sunday
Kenyan midfielder Stanley Wilson was an unused substitute in AIK’s match against Norrkoping played at the Platinumcars Arena on Monday night.
Having played a paltry one minute against Timothy Ouma’s Elfsborg on 27 October, Wilson was this time left on the bench as his side fell 1-0 to the Blues and Whites under the lights.

The all-important goal came in the 26th minute, when AIK defender Ioannis Pittas deflected a Daniel Moberg Karlsson freekick inside the box past his goalkeeper Kristoffer Nordfeldt and into the net.
Chances kept coming for the home side and they almost doubled the scoring in the 34th minute when Moutaz Neffati, from a corner kick, picked up the ball and unleashed a powerful finish that seemed to drill into Nordfeldt's left, but ended up a few centimeters outside the goal frame.
After braving numerous onslaughts, AIK thought they had equalized when John Guidetti’s goal after 97 minutes was disallowed.
The loss was AIK’s 10th off the season, and they will now hope to finish in the top three when the league comes to an end on Sunday.
AIK, then, will visit Halmstads BK at Strawberry Arena for the last round of the season.
A win for them will see them secure a valuable place at next year's Europa Conference League Qualifiers.
Meanwhile on Tuesday, Harambee Stars goalkeeper Ian Otieno will seek to extend his fine form in South Africa when his side - Richards Bay - comes up against Premiership league-leaders Orlando Pirates at 2030 EAT.
Otieno played a crucial role in last Saturday's Carling Cup quarter finals, as he helped his side triumph over Cape Town City FC 5-4 on post-match penalties to book a place into the last four.
