Gogo added Freedom Airline to their grwing list of partners at the club

National Super League (NSL) side Darajani Gogo on Saturday evening unveiled Freedom Airlines as the main shirt sponsors for the 2023/24 season and the club team manager Sudi Avoga is speaking big after the Kibra-based outfit confirmed deal.

Sudi, who has spearheaded the NSL money bags since their time in the fourth tier, has welcomed the new partners scribbling that it will set in motion the club’s performance this season which comes in the wake of a 1-0 win over Mombasa Elites in what was Gogo’s maiden win of the season.

Darajani have had a rude start to the campaign that has left the club languishing 14th on the log standings after six matches with only a single win.

Gogo were promoted to the second tier in 2021/22 season from the third tier and managed a seventh-place finish at their first time of asking which the club administrator believes the team is capable of beating this term with the increased revenue at their disposal.

Our bosses managed to convince and strike a deal with a local aviation firm that has its origin here in Kibra for sponsorship of the team from this season going forward. We welcome the move and appreciate them for the good job they have done to see our team remain competitive with a sustainable financial muscle. The deal is a blessing to the team at a time we are focused on getting back on the right track and it will act as a motivator to all of us at Gogo,” he offered.

When the team is undergoing some tough times, it is always hard for the players to get self-motivation and give their best, not that they have been suffering but this is going to add some fuel to them as the club may review many factors in their contracts to keep them happy,” he added.

Sudi also expressed confidence in Coach Paul Ogai and his technical bench terming them the right match to guide Darajani Gogo to top flight football despite a slow start to the season that he says the club has buried behind their backs following Saturday win over Elites.

“Ogai is a good coach who with resources and free handling of the squad he has what it takes to lead us into the dream land. We have faith in the whole technical bench and we are aware of their capabilities, it is just a matter of time before we explode and march to the deserved league,” he said.

Sudi has also pleaded with Gogo fans to be vigilant and attend all the club matches as well as grab the club’s merchandise once available to gear them success.

Once our jerseys are available I challenge all the fans to grab a replica of their jersey as a way of showing support to the team.” He concluded
