K’Ogalo are one of the most supported teams in the country, with their matches attracting packed-to-the-rafters stadiums, whether home or away.
Historically, gate collections have been one of the major sources of revenue for the club, and that was not different in the 2025/26 season.
The 22-time league champions made it a norm to post their match-day revenue throughout the season on their social media pages, which, according to our compilation, amounted to a whopping Ksh28.3 million throughout the season.
The biggest revenue for Gor Mahia emanated from the first leg of the Mashemeji Derby against arch-rivals, AFC Leopards, played on Sunday, 7 December, which saw the club rake in Ksh7,011,500.
The Derby collections were followed by their coronation match against Nairobi United, where they collected Ksh5,451,000.
K’Ogalo also reached the Ksh2 million mark in their matches against Police FC and Shanana FC, where they earned Ksh2,388,800 and Ksh2,441,000 respectively.
The other matches where the Charles Akonnor-coached side recorded seven-figure earnings include the Ksh1,323,800 from their match against Ulinzi Stars, Ksh1,054,500 against Kariobangi Sharks and Ksh1,001,300 against Mara Sugar.
Gor Mahia also recorded over Ksh900,000 in their matches against Bandari FC, where they raked in Ksh988,600, Ksh985,700 in their opening clash against Bidco United, Ksh973,600 against Sofapaka, Ksh941,500 against Mathare United and Ksh902,9000 against Posta Rangers.
Other substantive amounts earned by the club include the Ksh876,150 and Ksh827,700 recorded against KCB FC and Tusker FC, respectively.
Further, the club posted underwhelming earnings of Ksh385,300 against Murang’a Seal, Ksh360,400 against Mozzart Bet-sponsored APS Bomet and Ksh320,200 against Kakamega Homeboyz in the three matches that were played in midweek.
With Ksh28.3 million gross earnings, Gor Mahia were able to handle significant financial needs from their gate collections, with the digital ticketing system credited for their fortunes.
Having experienced a surge of a new generation of fans, K’Ogalo are expected to have even better earnings in the upcoming 2026/27 season.
