Nico Williams has made his decision and signaled Bayern Munich that he's wish is to move to Allianz Arena, Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sports Germany exclusively reported on Wednesday night.
According to the well-informerd German journalist, the Athletic Bilbao forward set the wheels in motion for a transfer after a meeting with Bayern Munich's management. The release clause for the player is set at €60-€65m and salary demands are around €20m.

As things stand, the Bavarians are already in negotiations to structure the deal and it is expected to progress quickly with the support of all parties.
Several other European giants were interested in the 22-year-old, but Bayern would be keen to complete this signing as soon as possible, especially after the player himself said 'Yes'.
Williams joined Bilbao's youth academy in 2013, where he progressed through the ranks and was one of the crucial players in Athletic's Copa del Rey victory in 2023/24.
