Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) side Ulinzi Stars have acquired a new sponsor ahead of the new season.
The four-time FKFPL champions on Friday afternoon welcomed Sancom as their new official back sponsor.
Ulinzi Stars Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Major Godwin Barasa said they are delighted with the new partnership and hope it will motivate them to do well.
“We're delighted to be partnering with Sancom as our back sponsor and look forward to helping them reach their business objectives by utilising our partnership, platforms and players as strategic marketing levers," he said as quoted on the club's social media page.
Sancom on the other hand said they are looking forward to integrating its brand with the club and its supporters.
“By teaming up, both brands will stay true to their forward-thinking identities. The partnership between Sancom and Ulinzi Stars represents a perfect match of shared values,” the company said.
Ulinzi Stars will be looking forward to a better season after struggling last term. The team has never won a major trophy for a long time and recently signed former international defender Antony ‘Modo Kimani as head coach.
Kimani took over from Bernard Mwalala who resigned to join another top league side KCB.
The soldiers are fully sponsored by the Ministry of Defence. Their new sponsor are a technology company that offers solutions to Defence and Security Customers.
The company’s headquarters are in Nairobi Kenya.
