The potential new loan deal could benefit both the English and the Turkish clubs, as well as the Cameroonian goalkeeper
Much ado about nothing.
There had been months of speculation about where Andre Onana would continue his career after his loan deal at Trabzonspor expired, as Manchester United made it clear they didn't want to take him back, believing they had struck gold with Senne Lammens' arrival.
Several sides have been linked with the Cameroonian, the Red Devils' demands, and different price tags were being mentioned, but in the end, the English side seems to have taken the path of least resistance.
According to Turkish journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu, Onana is set to rejoin Trabzonspor on another loan, delaying the decision about his next permanent destination for another year. The two sides have reportedly struck a verbal agreement, and the club from Papara Park will pay a loan fee.

This way, both the keeper and United will have more time to think about the future, while Trabzonspor hope to secure a better deal and buy the 30-year-old next year, when he enters the final year of his contract with the Premier League side.
Trabzonspor were reportedly keen to make a transfer move for Onana now, but United's financial demands were too high.
Therefore, despite all the fuss around the custodian, things are likely to remain as they were last season.
