The 19-year-old Iraqi international made a massive statement in the 4-1 victory against Melbourne

Two out of two for Erik ten Hag! Ok, it's still pre-season, but the Dutch tactician is manifesting a new, fresh approach to business which captures the attention of the Red Devils' fans, who see much more to it than just genuine wins.

After trashing Liverpool 4-0, Ten Hag's boys bagged another four against Melbourne Victory, coming from behind after conceding early on.

McTominay, Martial and Rashford added their names to a scoresheet, while Lupancu scored an own-goal to make this United's victory even more comfortable.

But the main take from this pre-season, one-sided game is definitely the emergence of until-recently unknown gem Zidane Iqbal. It must be challenging to carry the burden of such a name for a 19-year-old, but it seems the Iraqi youngster is doing rather fine at Old Trafford.

He came in for McTominay after the half-time break and made his presence very clear, making some nasty dribbles and passing like a veteran.

He deserved lots of compliments on the social network from both fans and journos. We sincerely hope this is only the beginning for the boy raised in United's youth setups. Zidane 2.0, ladies and gentlemen!
