What a mistaka to maka! United would rather forget 2021 ahead of the last match of the year

Ralf Rangnick's outfit brings down the curtain on a very tumultuous 2021 with tonight's tie against Burnley at Old Trafford
If you would offer a drink to Manchester United fans on 30 December 2020 and offer him a runners-up position in the Premier League, the same at the Europa League and a return of Cristiano Ronaldo in the upcoming year, they would be overwhelmed with joy.
But as the curtain on 2021 falls down, it seems the Red Devils could be anything but satisfied with what this year brought to them. United's rollercoaster provided the Old Trafford outfit with tons of drama, some heavy losses, a pinch of nostalgia, a couple of sackings and a sense of failure upon the 2021 end.
Their tonight's home tie against Burnley - the last EPL fixture of the year - will be a chance to settle the score and summarize the entire 2021. However, an eventual win won't push Man United to the summit but to sixth place, which is insufficient for the club of their status.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was dismissed midway through the season following a series of terrible defeats, and another former player Michael Carrick stepped in for a caretaker role. What Carrick did was to pour in some stability in and around the locker room, but sooner than later, he was replaced with another interim manager Ralf Rangnick.
That first glimpse of enthusiasm was gone in a matter of weeks after Red Devils succumbed to another on-the-pitch disarray.
It seems that mistakes are there to stay at Manchester United...
In the early '80s, BBC aired a much-popular sitcom 'Allo, 'allo about the comical part of WWII. One of the most remembered cameos was a role of a jovial Italian captain Alberto Bertorelli. He used to go around and shout: "What a mistaka to maka!" in lousy English.
We're not sure Rangnick has ever seen it, but maybe he'll think of his Old Trafford arrival as a huge mistake, too.
The ODDS for total number of goals scored in first half to be 1 or more and total total number of goals scored in the second half to be 2 or more (1+FH&2+SH) are at 2.40
