The Swabians are playing perhaps the best season since they became champions of Germany for the last time in 2007, carried by the incredible Serhou Guirassy, so that bitterness is connected precisely with the bad fate of the French striker with Guinean roots.

As is known, Guirassy suffered a muscle injury yesterday after a goal he scored, which is why he had to leave the field in the 30th minute of the match. At first, it seemed that it was a purely precautionary substitution. However, further examinations showed that the strong center-forward will have to take a more extended break.

Exactly how long, the club from the MHPArena did not announce. What is certain, is that it will be 'several weeks of strict rest'.

"The fact that we won't have Serhou in the coming period is a big loss for us, as well as for him personally. You all saw what kind of shape he was in. We will have to overcome the new situation in the best possible way," said the coach of the second-placed team in the Bundesliga, Sebastian Hoennes.

Serhou Guirassy is the best scorer in Europe at the moment with 14 league goals in the first eight games (15 goals in total, including the DFB Cup), which raised his market value from 14 to as much as 40 million euros in just two months.

The boy from Arles did not score a goal in only one game this season, and on average he shakes the opponent's net every 46 minutes! However, perhaps the most interesting data related to his efficiency reads like this: Serhou Guirassy scored more goals than 62 clubs (98 in total) in the TOP 5 leagues?!

His closest rival when we talk about the strongest championships at the moment is Lautaro Martinez, scorer of 11 goals in nine games in Serie A.

Stuttgart are facing four games in the next 20 days, until the next international break. Three league games and one in the DFB Cup. Next weekend, the Swabians welcome Hoffenheim, then Union Berlin (DFB Cup), then they go to Heidenheim. Before the last break of the year, on November 11, Stuttgart welcome Borussia Dortmund.
