Arsenal's 16-year-old midfielder becomes the youngest player to win the EPL

Max Dowman keeps rewriting English football history.

The Arsenal wonderkid added another extraordinary milestone to his rapidly growing resume after the Gunners officially secured the Premier League title, becoming the youngest player ever to win the competition.

At just 16 years and 144 days old by the final day of the season, Dowman has shattered a record that once belonged to Phil Foden, who was 17 years and 350 days old when he lifted his first Premier League crown with Manchester City back in 2018.

And remarkably, this is only the latest chapter in a season that has turned the teenager into one of the biggest stories in European football.

Dowman first stunned the football world in August 2025 when he made his senior debut for Arsenal at just 15 years and 235 days old, becoming the youngest player in Premier League history.

A few months later, he broke another major record by becoming the youngest player ever to appear in the Champions League at 15 years and 308 days.

Then came the moment that truly announced him to the wider football audience.

In March, Dowman climbed off the bench against Everton and scored late in a 2-0 victory, becoming the youngest goalscorer the Premier League has ever seen at 16 years and 73 days old.

Now he has another historic achievement to add to the list: Premier League champion.

Dowman made the five league appearances required to qualify for a winner's medal, all coming from the bench during Arsenal's title-winning campaign - the club's first league triumph in 22 years.

In doing so, he joins an exclusive list of teenage champions that includes former Arsenal stars Nicolas Anelka and Gael Clichy, while pushing names like Rico Lewis, Ryan Giggs and Phil Neville further down the all-time rankings.

Youngest Premier League title winners:

Max Dowman - 16 years, 144 days (Arsenal 2025-26)
