The youthful Kenyan side sealed the title in emphatic fashion, defeating hosts Uganda in straight sets in the final.
Kenya, who lost to Uganda during last year's final, dominated the opening set with an 11-0 victory, before completing the sweet revenge with an 8-1 win in the second set to reclaim the regional crown.
Throughout the tournament, Kenya remained unbeaten, showcasing exceptional skill, teamwork, and consistency to emerge as the undisputed champions in East Africa.
Kenya booked their place in the final thanks to straight-sets victory over Tanzania on Saturday, 27 June, and were the beneficiaries of a walkover against South Sudan on the opening day of the tournament that brought together four nations.
By reaching the final, both Kenya and Uganda secured qualification for the African Baseball5 Championship, where they will represent the East African region later this year.
The regional triumph provides a timely confidence boost for the Kenyan team ,even as they intensify preparations for a busy international calendar.
In addition to the continental championship, the team is set to represent Kenya at the Youth Olympic Games in Dakar, Senegal, later this year, when the sport makes its debut in the competition.
The victory marks another significant milestone for the continued growth of Baseball5 in Kenya, and reinforces the country's status as one of the leading forces in the sport across the East African region.
