The highly anticipated clash will see two of the country’s most dominant sides renew their rivalry with a place in the final at stake.
The matchup, often dubbed the Rai Derby, has quickly grown into one of the fiercest fixtures in Kenyan rugby.
Kabras head into the semifinal with momentum on their side, having secured a commanding 61-19 victory over Heathens RFC in the quarterfinals.
Oilers, on the other hand, delivered a statement performance of their own, dismantling Toyota Buffaloes 60-15 in Nakuru to underline their title credentials.
However, recent history slightly tilts the psychological edge in favor of Kabras.
When the two sides last met in the Kenya Cup on Saturday, 14 March at the ASK Kakamega Showground, Kabras won 27-13.
That result will undoubtedly linger as the Oilers seek redemption, while Kabras will look to replicate the same dominance in a knockout setting where the stakes are even higher.
The second semifinal will see Uganda’s Stanbic Bank Pirates take on Kenya’s Nondescripts RFC in Kampala.
Pirates head into the clash brimming with confidence after stunning KCB Rugby 11-10 in the quarterfinals, a result that knocked out one of the tournament's favorites.
Nondies, meanwhile, secured their semifinal slot with a solid 29-13 victory over KCB Kobs.
