The race was sponsored by Mozzart Bet

Emmanuel Kemboi and Daisy Cherotich are the winners of the 2022 edition of the Chemususu Dam half marathon held on Saturday.

The race powered by leading gaming firm Mozzart Bet saw athletes drawn from all corners of the country battle for top honours in the seventh edition of the race.

Kemboi cut the tape after one hour, three minutes and forty six seconds to reign supreme in the men's category.

Kurgat shines in Austin

He finished ahead of Jackson Kipleting who timed 1:03:49.Bernard Kipkirui took home bronze after clocking 1:04:22.

Cherotich on the other hand ruled the women's race after timing one hour, eleven minutes and thirty eight seconds. She was followd by Catherine Reline who posted 1:11:45.

Jackline Jelal settled for a third place finish in 1:11:48.
