Bednarek took to social media to take a jibe at his host Omanyala, saying he had 'bought land in Kenya' after the win
Africa's fastest man and Commonwealth Games 100m champion Ferdinand Omanyala found himself totally dominated at the Kip Keino Classic, finishing fifth in the fifth edition of the continental tour.

Kenny Bednarek, Olympics silver medalist, stormed to victory in the race, an anticipated show stopper that was a somewhat an anticlimax as rains disrupted action just before the race and the home boy did not live up to expectations.
The American clocked 9.91s (2.2) to finish ahead of compatriot Emmanuel Matadi who ran 9.99s and Jeremiah Azu in 10.00s.
Omanyala settled for fifth in 10.03s behind Chituru Ali's 10.01
"It is where I am. There's nothing more to it. We run in different weather so I cannotblame the rains," Omanyala who was competing the 100m for the first time this season said. "We are three months away from Paris Olympics and that being the target, we know what needs to be worked on in that timeliness."
