Today, Kenya has a chance to win more medals, with two finals on the schedule. In the 1500m final at 9:50 PM, the Kenyan duo of Brian Komen and Timothy Cheruiyot will be competing, and Kenyans will be eagerly watching.
In the 3000m women’s steeplechase final at 10:14 PM, Beatrice Chepkoech and Faith Cherotich will be flying the Kenyan flag with hopes of winning another medal.
This morning, Kipyegon returns to the track for the women's 1500m heats at 11:05 AM. She is joined by Susan Ejore and Nelly Chepchirchir, with Ejore in heat 1, Kipyegon in heat 2, and Chepchirchir in heat 3.
