Golden Trail Series champion Joyce Muthoni Njeru is looking forward to yet another exciting season as she takes on the best in mountain running for the various titles up for grabs.

At 27, the Kenyan runner has already amassed an impressive track record, and after a stand-out 2024 season on the global stage, joining NNormal, the sports equipment brand founded by Kilian Jornet and Camper in 2022, has her dreaming up better.

Njeru has already claimed some of the most prestigious victories in international trail running.

In 2021, 2022, and 2023, she clinched the World Mountain and Running Athletics (WMRA) World Cup, and she has also recently achieved notable successes in the most prestigious races on the international circuit, such as winning the 2024 Broken Arrow in the USA and finishing second at the 2023 Sierre Zinal in Switzerland.

"I am very excited to join the NNormal team, a brand that cares not only about performance but also about the impact it generates. I fully identify with their philosophy and am looking forward to covering many kilometers together," Njeru stated.

With her on board, NNormal strengthens its commitment to a roster of high-performance athletes and prominent figures in the field.

“Joyce’s role extends far beyond that of a mere athlete. Her commitment to the community is also part of her character. She has long been involved with various social and educational projects in Kenya, notably initiatives supporting underprivileged children. Starting today, NNormal and Njeru will join paths and begin planning for the coming seasons' objectives. Some will be marked by athletic ambition, others by a commitment to social and environmental causes. Nonetheless, all will serve to inspire future generations,” a statement from the brand reads.

NNormal is an outdoor sports brand, born between the shores of Mallorca and the Fjords of Norway. The products reflect durability and performance, that inspire people to enjoy and respect nature.
