Sha’Carri Richardson gets sweet revenge over Julien Alfred in Zurich Diamond League

Richardson turned on the after-burners in the final 40 meters of the race to steer clear of Alfred to post a time of 10.84.
World champion Sha’Carri Richardson soothed her Paris 2024 Olympic heartbreak by getting one over gold medalist at the Games Julien Alfred at the Zurich Diamond League.
This was the first time the two sprint queens were going head to head since the Paris Olympics where the Saint Lucian stunned the whole world to claim gold.
Richardson turned on the after-burners in the final 40 meters of the race to steer clear of Alfred to post a time of 10.84.
Alfred who had a superb start to the race failed to maintain her blistering pace till the finish line as she finished second in a time of 10.88.
