Algeria saw their eight game winning streak come to a halt following a 1-1 draw against Burkina Faso.
A resurgent Libya side claimed three vital points against Angola away from home while 2019 African champions, Algeria dropped two points against Burkina Faso in the 2022 Qatar FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

After a drab first half that witnessed no goals, Algeria opened the scoring in the scoring after just 18 minutes of play through Sofiane Feghouli but Burkina Faso rallied from behind to claim a point when Abdoul Tapsoba struck four minutes after the hour mark.

Libya maintained their 100% record in the 2022 Qatar FIFA World Cup by claiming a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Angola on the road that saw them top Group F that also has African giants Egypt.

Libya are a resurgent nation following political troubles and opened the scoring through Omar Al Khoja two minutes to the halftime break with the goal enough to settle the tie leaving Egypt with their work cut out if they are to qualify for the playoffs.

Guinea Bissau went into the halftime break with a comfortable 3-0 lead courtesy of a brace from Piqueti that was sandwiched by Frederic Mendy’s goal.
Sudan pulled one back 10 minutes after the resumption of the second half through Mohamed Abdel Raman but Mama Balde put the game beyond Sudan in the 82nd minute. Mohamed Abdel Raman sealed his brace to put some respect on the scoreline with a goal in the 92nd minute for Sudan.
