A new goalkeeping star is born? Velodrome sure saw him shine

Toulouse 'stood their ground' in Marseille
Marseille entered the season with two wins from two matches at home and two away draws. One would say, in their own style. But today even the Velodrome did not have the power to push through a victory. The point from Marseille was taken by Toulouse.
Marseille had a chance to equalize with Monaco at the top of the table with a win, but they failed as Toulouse defended well. And that is no accident - Toulouse already stopped PSG at the beginning of the season and won a draw. Obviously, they know how to play against the big…
Admittedly, the only thing Marseille have to regret is the first half in which they were better and had better chances. In the second part of the game, the two teams were equal, and in the end, Toulouse had a better chance to reach the whole loot.
The hero of the match was visiting goalkeeper Guillaume Restes, who in the first half made five really great interventions and saved his team. In the second half, Marseille had Clauss hitting the crossbar, but Toulouse also missed chances in the 87th and 92nd minutes to completely shock the Velodrome.
The central figure of the match was the aforementioned Restes. The guy is only 18 years old and this summer he was reassigned from Toulouse's youth team to the A squad. Only one preparation was enough for him to fight for the starting position and enter the season as the first goalkeeper of the purple team. And to begin to delight.
Even against Paris Saint-Germain, he showed incredible potential, he was chosen as the best young player of Ligue 1 in August, and today in Marseille he left the home fans in disbelief with some spectacular saves.
It seems that a new goalkeeping star has been born…
