Injured Stars midfielder doubtful for the Zesco clash
Harambee Stars attacking midfielder Duke Abuya is likely to miss on the opportunity to face his compatriots Jesse Were, John Makwata and Ian Otieno when his side Nkana FC face a title-chasing Zesco United on Wednesday.
The former Kariobangi Sharks man missed their last weekend hard fought 2-0 win over Power Dynamos in the Kitwe derby staged at the Arthur Davies Stadium owing to an injury.

“I am doing well at Nkana but unfortunately, I picked an injury on the eve of our match against Dynamos. I am not sure if I will be fit for the Zesco duel,” he briefly said.
The regelation fighting Nkana travel to face former champions in Lusaka in a league encounter which will see Abuya come up against the trio who are all attached to Zesco.
Nkana who recently bowed out of the CAF Confederation Cup group stages after finishing third in pool D are currently focusing on securing their top flight status which is under immense threat.
The Kitwe based club who have a couple of matches at hand demeaning sit second from bottom with 25 points, ten adrift of safety.
On the other hand, Zesco who have won their last ten matches are inching closer to the title as they comfortably sit on the summit with 55 points, nine ahead of second placed Zanaco who saw Kabwe Warriors 2-1 last weekend.
