Account is open - Vardy scores his maiden Cremonese goal

After bagging 237 goals across various competitions in England (from the first, second, fifth, and sixth flights, and the FA and EFL Cups, to the Community Shield) as well as the Champions League, Europa League, and Conference League, Jamie Vardy opened his account in Italy.

Last night, the Leicester City legend netted his maiden goal for Cremonese in a 1-1 draw against Atalanta. The Englishman struggled with injuries and form in his first days on the Boot, but things now seem much better than before.

Either way, the Cremonese fans can be thrilled that the 38-year-old got off the mark in the Serie A and hope this is just the beginning of his ruthless net-busting campaign.
