Former England manager Fabio Capello gave an interesting comment regarding Atalanta and the Premier League
How would a club from one league cope with rivals in the other is a frequent question among football fans. This question will never be answered, as European competitions are the only possible form of international club games. At least for now.
Although we'll (probably) never see an Italian side in the Premier League, in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, renowned Italian gaffer and former England manager Fabio Capello claimed Atalanta are as good as the Manchester giants. The Goddess only lacks a proper name.
"Atalanta play with an intensity worthy of the Champions League or Premier League. Given their playing style, nobody would be surprised if they were called Atalanta United or Atalanta City," stated Capello, via Football Italia.

Atalanta - and who knows, perhaps a Premier League member one day travel to the Italian capital to face Roma tonight (22.45). Claudio Ranieri's arrival at Stadio Olimpico got Giallorossi's hopes up, but the results still don't follow the enthusiasm, as the Wolfess has been winless for five matches.
On the other hand, Gian Piero Gasperini's men have been undefeated since September 24, when they lost to Como in Bergamo. Since then, Atalanta have recorded ten triumphs and two draws in Serie A and the Champions League. Therefore, Roma will be up for a very challenging task, while the Goddess will have a chance to prove that Capello wasn't wrong.
