Leopards and Shabana will clash in an anticipated high-octane clash, spiced by the fact that they are second and third, respectively, on the log.

Ingwe has been in great form since the end of 2025 and has won seven of their last 10 matches, including five of their last six.

The Glamour Boys are equally enjoying a great run that has seen them win all their last four matches, the latest being against Mathare United on Wednesday 25 February.

Speaking after the Mathare victory, Okidi weighed in on their upcoming match against the Kenyan giants, where they will be on a revenge mission.

We will need to humble ourselves as we have always been. AFC Leopards are a good team, but we are the best, and so we are going to work on getting maximum points. They came to Gusii and took our three points, which they have to give us back,” said Okidi.

The Rising Stars tactician went ahead to explain the characteristics of the team that will emerge victorious.

It is also a game where the team that will have the hunger for goals will carry the day, and we believe that we have the hunger and energy to do so,” he added.

Reflecting on Shanana’s win over Mathare United, the former Nakuru Allstars coach hailed his team’s resilience.

I thank my players for being patient and calm in the game. We believed and knew we would score, but we were not sure of the time. We had prepared well, had moments where we ought to have scored, and in the end, are grateful that we did so with our last chance of the match,” he concluded.

The all-important goal was scored in the 98th minute by captain George Onyango, who rose high to head home a Bronson Nsubugo corner.
