Leopards revealed the number of fans who attended the match through a post on their social media pages.

We sold a total of 1424 tickets: 1168 for terraces and 256 for the VIP section in our FKF-PL match against Posta Rangers FC at Nyayo Stadium

We take this opportunity to thank all of us for purchasing the tickets, turning up for the match, and for your cooperation at the gates,” read the post.

Tickets for the match were retailing at Ksh300 for regular (terraces) and Ksh500 for the VIP section.

Leopards therefore collected a total of Ksh478,400, which translates to Ksh350,400 from regular tickets and Ksh128,000 from the VIP.

The amount was lower than the Ksh564,500 that the club realized in their previous home match against APS Bomet on 17 January.

In the other home match that Ingwe have had in 2026, the club collected Ksh1,018,800 against Kakamega Homeboyz, held on 4 January.

The three matches have seen a pattern of declining revenue from the gates, a matter that will trouble the club’s management, given that match-day gate collection is one of the biggest revenue streams for the club.

On the pitch, the 1998 league champions managed to return to winning ways courtesy of first-half goals from Kelly Madada and Kayci Odhiambo, while Posta got their consolation through Ponda Karisa in the second half.

Ingwe will play KCB in their next league match onThursday, 26 February.
