The former Gor Mahia midfielder was named on the bench for the Nedbank Cup Round of 32 clash against TS Galaxy that Kaizer Chiefs suffered a 1-0 loss.

Augustine Chidi Kwem scored the all-important goal for TS Galaxy in the clash, nine minutes after the interval when he got to the end of a catastrophic back pass from Phathutshedzo Nange.

The defeat in the last 32 now means that Kaizer Chiefs' pursuit for a trophy since 2015 will be extended as they are 20 points off log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns in the league.

Justin Dhillon

Kenyan forward Justin Dhillon featured for San Antonio in a pre-season friendly against Major Soccer League (MLS) side FC Dallas and suffered a 6-0 pummeling.

It only took four minutes for Dallas to open the scoring through Colombian forward Jader Obrian and he went on to double his tally four minutes later to have a perfect start to the game.

Jesus Ferreira put the game beyond San Antonio in the 17th minute as he held his nerve to convert a penalty and scored his second goal a minute before the half-hour mark.

Ferreira was having a memorable night when he sealed his hat-trick in the 33rd minute as Dallas went to the break with a healthy 5-0 scoreline.

Dhillon was introduced in the second half but Dallas proved too strong for the Championship side as Paul Arriola drilled the final nail in San Antonio’s coffin in the 68th minute.
