Alaba 'Deja-vu' in Bayern? Koman rejects a new contract

The 24-year old winger has refused the first offer from the Bavarians
It seems that Bayern no longer has that power to give players an offer they cannot refuse. The power of persuading the leaders of the German giant has waned lately, or it could be said that the club's tactics to not compete with other financially powerful clubs may have taken its toll.
David Alaba packed his suitcases to leave Munich for the summer after 13 seasons, smoothly rejecting everything Bayern offered him because he obviously could get more somewhere else. He still hasn’t announced (or fined) a new club, and that is an ongoing saga on its own. Whether it will be PSG, Real, Barça, or some English club, nobody knows at the moment.
But leaving the club after 13 years in pursuit of money got the Bayern executives thinking who might be the next Alaba in their ranks. Also, they didn’t want to experience the same situation with another player, who will drag the negotiations, preventing Bayern sports director to sell him for at least some value. However, their fears of deja-vu were confirmed recently, when another future star, Kingsley Koman, also said "no" to the new contract.
The difference is that the Frenchman's current contract with Bayern does not expire this summer, but is valid until June 2023, so there is time for an agreement. But Kicker announced that Koman, the hero of the last final of the Champions League, refused to commit himself to the Bavarians until the summer of 2026. Koman currently earns over 160.000 euros a month, and reportedly, the Frenchman wants a lot more.
Negotiations between the two sides have been suspended until further notice, and Bayern is preparing for a new round, with an improved offer. Koman has room to bargain because Manchester United had a desire to bring him this summer, but in the end, nothing happened. Which doesn't mean they won't try again in June.
Koman is 24 years old and has won many trophies with three clubs. He was the two-time champion of France with Paris Saint-Germain, the same number with Juventus, while in the Bayern jersey, he took five German championship titles, but also the most valuable one - the Champions League. Enough in his CV already to command a hefty wage. But in what club?
