According to reports, Cesc Fabregas will become Como's boss. He's been around in the picturesque Italian city since August 2022
Former Arsenal, Chelsea and Barcelona star Cesc Fabregas is taking a full circle at Italian Serie B side Como.
After joining them as a veteran player, the Spaniard also became the club's shareholder. The next year, he decided to hang up his boots and started his coaching career with their youth team. Now, according to reports from Italy, he's ready to take on his first coaching role with a senior side.
The 36-year-old is set to be appointed as Como's new head coach following the sacking of Moreno Longo. Como beat Ascoli 1-0 away on Saturday, but Longo was fired anyway, and multiple reports in Italy, including Fabrizio Romano's, report Fabregas will replace the ex-Torino coach.
Como currently sit sixth in the Serie B table with 21 points in 12 games. They are in the play-off zone, eight points below leaders Parma.
