Red-hot Moses Shumah continued his sensational scoring run after inspiring Power Dynamos FC to a commanding 3-0 victory over Kabwe Warriors FC in a rescheduled Zambian Premier League clash played on Wednesday, 15 April at Railways Stadium.
Barely days after spearheading Dynamos’ triumph over Nkana FC in the fiercely contested Kitwe Derby, the in-form Harambee Stars forward was, once again, the difference-maker, netting a brace as the league leaders registered back-to-back victories.

Shumah wasted little time in stamping his authority on the contest, finding the back of the net within the opening minute to hand Dynamos a dream start.
The lanky striker, who featured for 84 minutes, was at it again ten minutes later when he struck his second of the afternoon in the 11th minute, doubling his side’s advantage and leaving Kabwe Warriors reeling.
With Dynamos firmly in control, Daniel Adoko added the third goal in the 27th minute to effectively put the result beyond doubt before the half-hour mark.
The defending champions headed into the break with a comfortable and convincing lead.
The second half was far more balanced, with Kabwe Warriors tightening up defensively to prevent further damage.
However, they could find no way back into the contest as Dynamos comfortably held on to seal an emphatic 3-0 victory.
The latest double marked Shumah’s fifth brace of the season, having previously struck twice against Mines United FC, MUZA FC, Konkola Blades FC and NAPSA Stars FC.
More significantly, the former Kakamega Homeboyz FC striker has now scored five goals in the space of seven days, a remarkable run that includes the solitary winner against Nkana and a brace against Mines United.
His two-goal haul also took his tally for the campaign to 20 league goals, making him the first Kenyan player to reach the 20-goal mark in a single Zambian top-flight season.
In doing so, Shumah surpassed the previous record set by fellow countryman Jesse Were during his time with Zesco United FC.
The prolific forward has now opened up a commanding 10-goal advantage at the top of the golden boot standings, underlining his dominance in what is proving to be a dream debut season in Zambia.
The victory saw reigning champions Power Dynamos FC climb to 61 points, seven clear of second-placed Red Arrows FC, albeit with a game yet to play.
With just a handful of matches remaining, the result places the side coached by Oswald Mutapa firmly in pole position to retain their crown and secure a record-extending ninth league title.
