Arsenal brainstorming on their goalkeeper options

No negotiations between Leno and the club... Yet
Amongst all other problems following the Gunners this season, Arsenal need to resolve the issue of their long-term goalkeeper plans.
Bernd Leno has admitted he is yet to hold talks with the club over a contract extension - and said he may be open to a 'new adventure.'
Germany international Leno (29) has established himself as the undisputed first-choice between the posts at the Emirates and his deal runs until June 2023.
When questioned over his future, Leno insisted he still has time on his side and that he is not concerned discussions have not begun over fresh terms.
'At this moment it's not the time to speak about the future,' Leno said. 'I know that I still have two years left and I'm also 29, for a goalkeeper that is not too old.', Sportsmail reports.
Leno, who joined Arsenal in 2018 from Bayer Leverkusen, has featured in the majority of Premier League fixtures this season, but refused to rule out eventually moving on.
'I've still some years to go. I'm very happy in the club.' he added. 'I don't know what will come in the future. I'm open for everything: for a new adventure or to stay at Arsenal.
'But, like I said, at the moment I don't think about my future because two years are still a long time.
'At the moment there are no conversations with the club or something else.'

The potential departure of Leno is likely to trigger Arsenal to sign a new goalkeeper. Boyhood supporter Mat Ryan arrived from Brighton on loan until the end of the season, while Alex Runarsson has delivered several unconvincing performances.
Arsenal next take on Slavia Prague tomorrow with their Europa League quarter-final tie delicately poised at 1-1 ahead of the second leg.
Mikel Arteta's team will have to at least score to avoid elimination after the last-gasp away goal from the Czech outfit at the Emirates last week.
