The Gunners' midfielder won't play for his national side in friendlies against Ivory Coast and Morocco
A little party never killed anybody. But it led to Thomas Partey being expelled from Ghana's national team for arriving late in Cape Coast.
Arsenal's midfielder came two days too late for the upcoming friendlies, without informing anyone from the football federation (GFA) nor gaining permission for his action. That's the reason the GFA decided to sack him out of the Black Stars squad.

Akonnor is using these two games to test his side before the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers start in September and the 2021 African Cup of Nations Qualifiers start.
