Tobias shines for Omaha in 4-1 demolition of North Carolina while Mohammed clocks full time in Greenvile's victory over South Carolina

Former Gor Mahia midfielder Tobias Otieno put a perfect performance, clocking 75 minutes and grabbing an assist in the process as his Union Omaha beat North Carolina 4-1 in the United Soccer League (USL) League One as Abdi Mohammed clocked 90 in his side's Greenville Triumph win against New England II in the same league while Victor Wanyama missed his sides 2-all draw with Philadelphia Union.

Tobias Otieno

Evan Conway scored a hattrick for Union Omaha, with Otieno making the forward foray to set Conway up for the first goal in the second minute.

North Carolina would then grab an equalizer in the 15th minute through Senegalese Sarr Mbaye but The Owls quickly regained the lead three minutes later through Conway again.

Emir Alihodzic made it 3-1 in the 25fth minute and the teams held the scoreline at that to the break.

Conway would then grab his third for the hat-trick and Omaha's fourth in the 58th minute before being rested for the final 15 minutes together with Otieno.

Although Greenville took all three points from New England Revolution II, this result locks up home turf for Union Omaha in the playoffs and could as well secure a bye to the semifinals based on their result in their remaining match.

Abdi Mohammed

Mohammed clocked full minutes as Greenville Triumph beat the South Carolina side by a solitary goal.

Allen Gavilanes scored the all-important goal in the 57th minute after the two teams had played to a barren draw in the first half, and went on to hold to their lead to full-time.

This was their third 1-0 win in consecutive matches after winning with an identical scoreline against Fort Lauderdale and Union Omaha in their previous two matches.

Victor Wanyama

The former Stars captain was missing in action when Montreal played Philadelphia Union to a two all draw.

Matko Mijael Miljevic opened the scoring for Montreal in the 33rd minute after being set up by Djordje Mihailovic but an own goal from James Pantemis in the 63rd minute saw Union level matters.

Philadelphia Union went ahead fourteen minutes later courtesy of Kai Wagner but Ibrahim Sunusi rescued a point for Montreal in stoppage time after being set up by Ugandan Mustafa Kizza.
