Gabonese striker netted at least once in the games between Barca and Real Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich, and Arsenal and Tottenham

After scoring that second goal against Real Madrid on Sunday, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang ran to the corner to celebrate it uniquely, referring to 'Dragon Ball Z' and the famous Goku character.

The Gabonese striker bagged a brace in his maiden El Clasico appearance but also will go down in history as the only player ever to achieve something more significant.

The African star is the first-ever to score at least once in El Clasico (Barcelona vs Real Madrid), Der Klassiker (Borussia Dortmund vs Bayern Munich) and the North-London derby (Arsenal vs Tottenham).

Auba featured for BVB between 2013 and 2018, and on August 13 2014, he scored Dortmund's second goal in a 2-0 victory over Bayern Munich in the German Supercup. After scoring the goal, he celebrated by putting on a Spider-Man mask.

Of course, that was just one of many more he used to nail against the Bavarians, making him one of the most prominent faces of Der Klassiker in those days.

Further on, in January 2018, Auba moved to Arsenal and became the first player to reach ten goals in the Premier League the following season, with a brace in Arsenal's 4–2 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in the North London derby on December 2.

Aubameyang scored the Gunners' opening goal from the penalty spot and later curled a shot past Hugo Lloris in the second half.

During his prolific four-year tenure at the Emirates, Aubameyang was known for his tormenting of the Spurs.

Finally, now with the Blaugrana, the African gem demonstrates he's specialized in that larger-than-life ties, making a statement at the very Santiago Bernabeu.

Furthermore, it's quite interesting how did he become Barca's choice for the January transfer window in the first place.

According to Spanish journalist Francesc Aguilar, the Aubameyang's signing has an interesting background.

"People related to Barca have intervened, such as Alejandro Echeverria or Deco (now included as a scout) who worked with the Gabonese federation and knew the environment and Auba himself well.

"Nor should it be forgotten that Guim Laporta, son of the club's president, was part of the technical staff of the Gabon National Team and worked with Pierre-Emerick. And also, the former Laporta's director, Jaume Ferrer, headed a project to modernize football in Gabon.

"Alejandro Echevarria was also the necessary bridge between Laporta and Xavi. There were many times he acted as an intermediary between the two. Every time they walked away from each other, he brought them closer. He had the confidence of both parties. Things went well, and Xavi signed for Barca," explains Aguilar.
