The former Arsenal captain had some harsh words about his former manager
For some time, it seemed like a perfect match-up between a gifted, promising coach and an experienced captain who could serve as his right hand, a genuine 'assistant' on the pitch.
However, that almost-perfect image of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and his relationship with the Gunners' coach Mikel Arteta was torn into pieces on matchday 16 of the 2021–22 season. Auba was omitted from the squad for the match against Southampton, with manager Mikel Arteta citing disciplinary reasons.
Three days later, Aubameyang was stripped of the captaincy, and on 1 February 2022, Arsenal announced Aubameyang's departure from the club by mutual consent. It was clear something had gone terribly wrong between the two of Arsenal's most favourite characters.
Some eight months later, we finally saw and heard some evidence of that hectic relationship. A video of Auba - now with Chelsea - talking about Arteta's apparent flaws emerged on social media. And it will definitely cause some reaction among the Gunners' fanbase, if not from the coach himself.
🗣 Aubameyang on Arteta: "Big characters and big players...he can't deal with it. He needs some young players who don't say anything."

This is really low from @Auba. As soon as he wants out he'll create problems in the locker room and blame it on someome else. pic.twitter.com/eIflZHewis
"Big characters and big players...he can't deal with it. He needs some young players who don't say anything," said Auba regarding the Spaniard.
They haven't won anything. https://t.co/hjaIXsceSK

So, what do you think about this, truth or bollocks?
