AFC Leopards head coach blasted Robinson Kamura after he was sent off in the win over City Stars.
Despite sealing a last gasp winner against Nairobi City Stars, AFC Leopards head coach Patrick Aussems was unimpressed with his skipper Robinson Kamura who was handed his marching orders early in the second half.
Kamura has not been in the best books with Aussems since he joined in early February as he was benched in games against Ulinzi Stars and Kakamega Homeboyz but was presented with an opportunity to redeem himself against Simba wa Nairobi.
The AFC Leopards captain however failed to redeem his trust in the Belgian tactician as he was sent for an early shower in the 49th minute for clattering Oliver Maloba who was through on goal, denying him a goal-scoring opportunity.
Aussems revealed that he was preparing to withdraw the former Mathare United defender after what he termed as a poor performance in the first half.
"I was thinking of substituting Kamura before he was red-carded because when a player is not performing well either a young player or key player, the coach needs to make some decision," said Aussems.
Fighting spirit , team work and unity, never give up and desire to keep managing the tempo even with one player less ... late goal but totally deserved ! Great job guys ! The team is improving week after week ... but stay focus because the road is still long ... pic.twitter.com/zl8N7gH5zU

Kamura who has been the Ingwe lynchpin in defence looks to be the biggest managerial casualty in Aussems reign after he being handed limited game time.
The 56-year-old coach was however impressed with his team’s fighting spirit in the game but admitted his side had the rub of green in the win.
"A game is not 90 minutes a game is 94 or 96 minutes and I want to congratulate my players because I think we were the better team especially after going down to 10 men, we did not panic, we tried to get possession, the other teams just threw long balls."
"We never gave up but we were a bit lucky, we made some changes at half time because our game plan was not good in the first half and as the game went on we felt something was coming because we had some spaces," added Aussems.
Ingwe next face a struggling Vihiga United on Saturday 13 March at Mumias Sports Complex.
