The Kenyan forward is nursing an injury

Kenyan forward Jonah Ayunga was missing in action when his side St. Mirren beat thrashed ten-man Aberdeen 3-1 at the Pittodrie Stadium in Scotland on Wednesday night.

In the absence of Ayunga who has been a consistent goal scorer for Mirren, Curtis Lee Main stepped in and bagged a brace to help the club register its third successive win in the league in recent times.

Main broke the deadlock in the 57th minute after he was put through by Rayan Strain and would go on to seal his brace in the 81st minute.

The host netted through Bojan Miovski who found the back of the net in the 74th minute from the spot.

Their chances of levelling matters narrowed down when their right back Ross McCrownie was sent for an early shower.

Mirren’s Declan Gallagher put the result beyond the reach of Aberdeen after scoring the third goal inside the added minutes.

Simba Queens 4-0 Alliance Girls

Meanwhile, Harambee Starlets poster girl Jentrix Shikangwa was in a class of her own as her four goals saw Simba Queens sweep Alliance Girls Aside 4-0 in a league match played on Wednesday evening at Nyamagana grounds.

The forward was named in the starting team alongside her compatriots Ruth Ingosi and Corazone Aquino who are also regular players for the national team.

FC Koper 3-2 Rudar Velenje

Highly-rated Kenyan forward Wilkims Ochieng was also missing in action for FC Koper as they edged second-tier side Rudar Velenje 3-2 in a friendly in Slovenia.
