Okello has scored eight goals for the Millers this season

Nzoia Sugar head coach Salim Babu opines that his side's striking force was not at their best in the 2-1 defeat to Sofapaka in an FKFPL match at Kasarani Annex last weekend in the absence of their leading striker Levis Okello, welcoming his return after serving his suspension.

The Millers were without Okello who was given his marching orders in the two-all draw with Bandari at Mbaraki earlier in April.

As a result of the red card, Okello missed the 1-1 draw with Ulinzi Stars at home, and the loss to Sofapaka last weekend and Babu believes the team could have profited from his presence in that match.

Okello has however completed his suspension and will be available for Nzoia's next assignment against Kenya Police at Sudi Stadium, some good news for coach Babu.

"When you look at our attack, we missed the presence of our striker Levis Okello who received a red card in Mombasa. Only our striking department let us down but we will train on that ahead of our next match now that he will be back after serving his ban. We started shakily in the first 10 minutes but later grew in the game and we could have even won the match," Babu said.

The forward leads the club's scoring chart with eight goals, just four behind the leading scorer Felix Oluoch who will be out of action for the next three weeks after sustaining an injury in the draw against Gor Mahia.

Babu and Nzoia have a tough task ahead of them as they will be seeking to bounce back to winning ways after going for five matches without recording a win, this time at Sudi where they last won in December last year.
