Mwita comes off the bench to notch the winner as Bandari grab maximum points.

Tusker have suffered yet another injurious blow in their quest to edge closer to the Football Kenya Federation Premier League diadem after falling 2-1 to Bandari at the Mbaraki Stadium.

The brewers were seeking to arrest their two games win-less streak and open a four point gap the top in the event that Western Stima would electrocute KCB.

However, the eleven-time champions now find themselves trailing the bankers by two points following the defeat at Coast, their fifth in the campaign.

With four matches to go, coach Robert Matano is certainly a furious man with the result as they had taken the lead in the first half but allowed the hosts to equalize and steal the three points.

Tusker who were forced to an early change after Boniface Muchiri who returned to the team after missing a couple of matches was injured within the first quarter of the game with his place taken by Henry Meja.

The Ruaraka based club got off the mark through Ugandan import Rodgers Aloro who fired home a superb free kick after Faraj Ominde had been brought down.

Bandari who made a double change a minute after restart minute where Johanna Mwita and Collins Agade came in for Danson Chetambe and Dennis Magige leveled matters through the budding centre back Hassan Idd in the 58th minute.

Mwita repaid his inclusion in the dying minutes of the game after kissing the back of the net to give the hosts maximum points. Following the win, Bandari are now placed eighth with 43 points, one adrift from the top five bracket.
