Vihiga Queens have won the league title with four matches to spare.

Women Premier League (WPL) side Ulinzi Starlets are away in Kitale where they face Trans Nzoia Falcons in a bid to maintain second place as the league conclusion draws near.

The Joseph Mwanza-coached side are at 34 points, three more than third-placed Thika Queens and are out to put a six-point difference between them and the chasers.

Their hosts, however, are out to stop them as Justin Okiring's charges hope to move fourth at 31 points. The side is currently sixth at 28 points. While a loss would hurt their ambitions, Falcons' sixth place is not threatened today as they are six points ahead of Nakuru Queens.

"We have prepared well for Ulinzi. We lost 5-0 to them in the first leg in Nairobi and our target is to turn the tables and pick maximum points," said Okiring.

On another match, Wadadia FC, eight on the log at 18 points are looking to cause an upset when they host fourth-placed Gaspo Women. A win for for Wadadia takes them to 21 points, just a point behind Nakuru Queens.

Gaspo on the other hand could go third at 33 points if they could master a victory away.

The other match of the day pits Kisumu All Starlets against Nakuru where hosts Kisumu are out to pick a win that will help them move closer to leaving the red zone.

Meanwhile, Thika Queens fight to retain third place in a clash against Kangemi at Stima Club.
