Bayern's front three have scored more than the entire Frankfurt team

Those who expect Eintracht to stun the Bavarians at Allianz Arena this Saturday afternoon (5.30 pm) should be aware of one thing - that would be a miracle

Bayern Munich host Eintracht Frankfurt this Saturday at Allianz Arena - a clash that in past seasons often represented two Bundesliga title contenders against each other.

This year, however, the gap between the two teams is enormous. The 26-point advantage of Bayern at the top of the table over Frankfurt (currently 7th) tells only part of the story. Another statistic is even more staggering.

The Bavarians' attacking trio of Harry Kane (32), Luis Diaz (29), and Michael Olise (24) have, across 22 Bundesliga matchdays, scored more goals combined (49) than Frankfurt's entire squad (44)! Breaking it down: Kane leads the way with 26 goals, Diaz has 13, and Olise has already netted 10.

Bayern themselves have scored 82 goals in total, nearly double Eintracht's tally, which is still the fourth-highest in the league behind Bayern, Dortmund, and Hoffenheim (each with 47).

Home advantage adds yet another edge for Bayern. No club in Bundesliga history has claimed more home wins against a single opponent than Bayern vs. Frankfurt - 43 victories.

But Frankfurt, under new coach Albert Riera, in charge since February 2, has shown signs of improvement. The Spaniard is confident ahead of the clash:

"We know it will be tough, but we want to win," reports Bild.

Bayern Munich, meanwhile, have their own motivation. Vincent Kompany's side are chasing three points to extend their lead in the title race over Dortmund. A win at the Allianz Arena could temporarily stretch their gap to nine points, forcing Dortmund to respond later the same day at RB Leipzig (8.30 pm) to maintain the current six-point margin before their direct showdown with Bayern on February 28 in Dortmund.
