Kane will be in the team for Leipzig game tonight
Finally, the biggest transfer saga this summer has ended: Harry Kane has become a Bayern Munich player, as the already former Tottenham striker came to Germany, did his medicals and signed a deal until 2027. And what is great for the player is he might even win the first trophy of his career, just hours after coming to the new club. Bayern Munich is playing in the German Super Cup tonight against Leipzig, who won the German Cup last season. It has already been confirmed that Kane will be on the bench for this game and is likely to make his debut during the initial 90 minutes.

The Bavarians wanted the proper number 9 in this transfer window, so they pursued Harry Kane without being frightened by one of the toughest and meanest man in business – Daniel Levy. Tottenham supremo did everything he could to keep the player, and when he realized he couldn’t, he decided to sell him for a (too) large sum. Many other clubs would have given up since Kane is 30 years old and in the last year of his contract and could have walked away in 2024, but the Bavarians wanted him so badly that Levy’s impudence was not punished, and he got an enormous sum. Spurs’ director was even rude enough to try to re-negotiate the already done deal and even humiliated Kane by leaving him to wait at the airport, but everything is done now; the Englishman will start his desire for trophies from Munich, while Levy will be full of money, but short of trophies.
"I'm very happy to be part of FC Bayern now. FC Bayern is one of the biggest clubs in the world and I've always said that I want to move and prove myself at the highest level in my career. FC Bayern is characterized by its winning culture - it feels very good to be here" said Kane for the club’s TV.

The fans are ecstatic and have flogged to the Bayern training centre last night to see Kane, who was having a medical. Club shop officials revealed that they had printed around 100 home and away shirts with Kane’s name on the back, and they were snapped at 175 euros per shirt. Everything is set for a showdown tonight.
