Al-Ittihad celebrate a deserved 3-1 victory against Al-Qadisiah. The former Gunners' forward scores from the spot, but it's not enough to avoid the loss
This has definitely been their season! Al-Ittihad won a domestic double after beating Al-Qadisiah in the King's Cup showdown 3-1 late Friday night.
Karim Benzema, N'golo Kante, Fabinho and several other superstars thus added another piece of silverware to their already successful season. Previously, they clinched the Saudi Pro League title, too, dominantly beating Al-Hilal, Al-Nassr and all other rivals.

Laurent Blanc's team showed no mercy in the cup final, either, rushing to a 2-0 first-half lead before Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang provided his team with a tiny bit of hope with a penalty in the stoppage time seconds before the break.
The favourites not only held onto that 2-1 lead, but Benzema wrapped up the tie with a brace in the game's dying moments for a 3-1 win.
One of the best strikers of the 21st century and the 2022 Ballon d'Or, even at the age of 38, still has that unique charm and skill we've known him for.
