Celtic are top of the table with 13 points from a possible 15, while Hibs are fourth on seven points.

Brendan Rodgers men have picked up well from their disappointing elimination from the Champions League league phase qualification.

They will seek to push ahead in the table as they are ahead in goal difference Hearts are ranked second.

While struggling in Europe, Rodgers' men are on song at home.

They remain undefeated in normal time across their last 10 matches.

The only flaw in what would have been a perfect league start was a 1-1 derby draw against Rangers.

At home, the Celts have lost one match and drawn one in their last seven.

In their last two fixtures at home, they have managed to keep a clean sheet.

The head to head record heavily favors Celtic as they have not lost to Hibernian in their last ten meetings in all competitions.

Known for his emphasis on possession, high pressing, and fluid attacking football, Rodgers will aim to continue on his principles that have seen his side dominate opponents domestically.

Rodgers' side will seek to control the midfield with three midfielders linking defense and attack.

Celtic are still without the services of mercurial Jota.

Also missing will.be Auston Trusty and Allstair Johnston.

With Rodgers favouring a 4-3-3 formation , his 4-3-3 could have Sebastian Tounekti who has started the last three matches and had a goal.

Daizen Maeda could start through the middle looking to build on his two goals and one assist this season.

Yang Hyun-Jun could also occupy the last slot in attack.

The headache of selection for Rodgers is however, where he will fit in Kelechi Iheanacho who has two goals and one assist in his three appearances.

Rodgers could be tempted to start Iheanacho alongside Maeda and Tounekti.

Although unbeaten in the league, Hibernian have not had a so rosy start to the season.

Coach David Gray's men are without a win in their last six fixtures .

It does not make for easy reading for the Herbs noting that they were knocked out in both the Europa League and Conference league qualifiers.

Adding to an elimination from the Scottish league cup.

The Hibs come into a ground where they have now won in 22 matches, losing 18 and drawing four.

Hibernian will be looking to settle in their 3-4-3 shape.

With Celtic being a heavy possession side and emphasis on playing out from the back, Hibs will look to press aggressively as is their norm to throw them off and disrupt their build up.

To get something out of the game, Hibs need to score and in their structure they will rely on the wing-back play of Chris Cadden and Nicky Cadden in the wider areas with the creativity of Jamie McGrath , who has three goals and one assist.

Martin Boyle and Kieron Bowie have four goals and an assist each to their name will provide the attacking threat.
